Varitronics ProFinish Jr - a desktop document laminator
Varitronics ProFinish - a mid-range wide format cold laminating machine that handles materials up to 23" wide.
Both Varitronics ProFinish laminators are cold film laminators. As a cold laminating machine, they can laminate just about any material that will fit through the machine. These machines all use pressure to fuse the laminating material together. That means that heat sensitive materials can be laminated.
Hot laminating machines, on the other hand, can not laminate heat sensitive materials such as ink jet printer output, photographs, and documents printed on thermal transfer paper (such as posters).
The ProFinish line of laminators are very easy to operate. The document-size ProFinish Jr. and the poster size ProFinish do not require electricity. That means they can be used anywhere-- just insert the item to be laminated and turn the crank.
