Cold Laminator
The Brady BLS 1255 is sometimes referred to as a "tape laminator". A cartridge contains laminating film, which in this case, is referred to as tape. The long lengths of tape in the cartridge allow for lamination of banners, as well as documents.
Tape lamination uses two layers of adhesive film, each stored on a separate roll within a cartridge. The document is fed between the two layers. Pressure rollers create a tight bond between film layers. Since heat is not required, the hand-cranked BLS 1255 can be used anywhere (no electricity is required).
